Button strength machine experimental operation method

The button impact strength tester can detect the impact resistance of plastic buttons and plastic buttons. A weight of 0.84 kg (29.5 oz) is dropped from 67 mm (2.625 inches) or other specified height (up to 200 mm (8 inches)), and the degree of rupture of the button is used as an assessment.

I. Overview This test measures the load-bearing capacity of all types of buttons (diameter 10mm or more) during strong garment manufacturing or daily use.

Second, the principle

1. When testing the hardness of buttons, gradually increase the tension load on the buttons until cracks appear on the surface of the buttons;

2. Release the hardness of the pendulum test button of a certain quality from a certain height.

Third, equipment

1, tension

2. The distance between mechanical transmission tension gauge chucks is 6.35mm/min.

3, clamp the fixture around the button (see Figure 1)

4, 1.6mm electrode shown in Figure 1, can pass through the hole in the button and connect with the clamp. Different types of buttons can be used for horizontal pull testing.

5. The clamp should always hold the end of the electrode during the test.

4.4 Test Samples Ten buttons are randomly selected for each test.

Fourth, the experimental steps

1, tension

Pass the electrode rod through the button hole of the button under test (the four-hole button passes through the two buttonholes on the diagonal line; the handle button passes through the buckle handle). The button and electrode were installed on the tension meter, and the pressure load on the button was gradually increased until the button or the buckle was broken, and the number of newtons under pressure was recorded. The remaining button samples use the same test method.

Calculate the pressure average and record the minimum and maximum values.

Explanation Normally the maximum and minimum values do not exceed 25% of the mean. For example, the average is 100N and the error should not exceed a minimum of 75N and a maximum of 125N.

2, impact force

Fasten the button to be measured on the appropriate size clamp facing the pendulum. The four-hole button leaks two holes, and the two holes reveal a hole. After fixing the button, close the clamp and use the supplied screwdriver to install all the components on the impactor's countertop. When testing a button smaller than 15mm, raise the pendulum to position 2 and the big button needs to go to position 1.

Release the handle, release the pendulum and strike the button. Record whether the button has broken, cracked or deformed. Repeat the test until all button samples have been tested.

V. Passed or failed conditions Buttons that use tensile and/or impact force tests shall meet the following conditions:

(a) Tensile test buttons should be classified as "light" and "heavy" according to their tensile strength and diameter. Refer to Table 1;

(b) In impact tests, the buttons should not be broken, broken or deformed.

Six, test report test report should contain the following

(a) Button strength (see 4.6)

(b) Give opinions and suggestions on this standard;

(c) Details of the deviations that occurred using this test method.
